        On November 9th,Professor Guido Ferrari of Florence University in Italy was invited to our School by Dean Liangqing Luo. Academic leaders and some teachers attended the exchange forum and discussion to exchange ideas about international cooperation ,they had friendly communicated and reached a consensus that the cooperation can be started from master exchange program. Besides, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on master's programs, teacher exchange programs, and suggested that the two sides could make more efforts on cooperation institutions promotion.In addition,professor Ferrari expressed thankfulness for our hospitality and showed great expectation to future cooperation between us.

       Professor Ferrari is the world-renowned expert of governmental and economic statistics, having published more than 100 articles , dozens of monographs and textbooks. He is the member of many associations, including the International Statistical Association, the International Association survey, the International Association for Official Statistics, the International Association of income and wealth statistics, International Input Output Association . Besides , It also deserves to be mentioned that he is a consulting expert of World Bank projects of purchasing power parity ,EU national accounts, non-observed economic accounting, GDP accounting for long term. Meanwhile ,he is also the honorary chairman of Spanish International Network Association of Tourism and Environmental Sustainability . Finally ,he was honored for Professor Emeritus of Academy of Social    Sciences in 2013.
