The former name of CATI laboratory of school of statistics was statistical analysis laboratory, while, now known as the computer -assisted telephone survey laboratory. In 2007, this project was set up by domestic and central and applied by school of statistics was approved. The Treasury has allocated 880000RMB for it. And it was established in 2008.

The laboratory has network platforms such as campus network,  the Internet and so on. The main goal of the laboratory is to meet the demand of statistical teaching and practice. Also, on the premise that it have already service for teaching, it can make some social survey and market research project and cooperate with friends of all circles to do some telephone survey of business so that it also can enrich.
